ミッドナイトサンのGuであるマグナス・カールソン率いるLasttribeの3rdアルバム。
なぜこのバンドがオススメなのか。
それはメロディラインが素晴らしいからである。
曲を作っているマグナス・カールソンはGuを弾くのも上手いが、メロディを作り上げるのも天才的に上手い。

例えば1.HealerではSymphonyXのようなギターリフで始まるが、サビはあくまでキャッチーなのである。
どの曲も非常にメロディの質が高く、マグナスのギターフレーズの入れ方も非常に上手くそしてカッコイイ。
正統派HMが好きな人は是非聞いてみて欲しい。

今や引く手あまたで、様々なバンド・プロジェクトに顔を出している実力派ギタリスト、マグナス・カールソン（MIDNIGHT　SUN、ALLEN−LANDE、STARBREAKER、OHORA）のメイン・バンドの３ｒｄアルバム。

前２作に見られたような疾走チューンこそ息を潜めたものの、相変わらずマグナス節とも呼べる、聴いた瞬間に彼の作曲と判る、キャッチーながらも剛健な中毒性の高いメロディが全編に炸裂。ギターの腕前も相変わらず達者。特に＃４“The　Uncrowned”がハイライトと呼ぶに相応しい出来。
ボーナストラック＃１１“Blessed　By　The　Dark”ではリード・ヴォーカルまで披露。これがなかなか正統派の野太い声で、堂に入っていてカッコいい。

リカルドの安定した歌唱と、バック陣の安定した卓越技巧がもたらす正統派叙情ハード・ロックがもたらすカタルシスは、他のバンドには無い独自の世界を築いている。

これだけカッコいいメロを聴かせるバンドもいないと思うんだけど、やっぱ知名度が低いんだよね･･･。

マグナス・カールソン(MIDNIGHT SUN、STARBREAKER)率いるスウェーデンのメロディアスハードバンド、ラスト・トライブの3rd。
メロディアスハード的なキャッチーさに、マグナス・カールソンのクラシカルなギターワークと、きらびやかなシンセアレンジが加わって、北欧らしい豊穣なHRサウンドを形作っている。
基本的には、楽曲、メロディともに正統派といってよいもので、目新しさはなにもないがどの曲をとっても構築された予定調和が耳に心地よく、クオリティが高い。
リカルド・ベンソンの大人の味わいのあるヴォーカルが、サウンドを軽すぎないものにしており全体的にきらきらとした雰囲気ながら、同時にどっしりとした落ち着きも有した作品になっている。
