「Realized Fantasies」以降どうにも紆余曲折ばかりでバンドの本質が
訳ワカメになりがちだったTNTですが、ここにきて再結成以前の
楽曲スタイルに戻ってきました。
一時期のHAREM SCAREMを見ているみたいで釈然としない部分も多いのですが、
ともあれバンドがベストのコンディションで原点回帰を果たしたという意味でも

再結成後の作品の中ではもっとも納得の行く内容になったのではないでしょうか。
バラード「Perfectly」の神々しい旋律に涙したファンはかなり多いはず…。

ただ、飛び跳ねるような押しの強い80年代ハードポップだった全盛期と比べると
落ち着いた雰囲気の歌メロが多く、これを「円熟味を増した」と取るか

「地味」「メロディが弱い」と取るかで評価が少々分かれるかも知れません。

　「今はオルタナ・ロックじゃないと売れないよ…」と言うメンバー及びレーベル。対して「絶対、北欧メタルじゃなきゃ嫌だ！」と言う日本・ドイツを中心とするファン。この間で、迷いながら新作を作る状態が続いている…。
　2004年2月21日発売の新作「MY RELIGION」は、メンバーが「僕たちがやるべき事はファンが教えてくれる」と半ば開き直り気味に発言しているように、かなり美旋律寄りに仕上がった。「TELL NO TALES」・「INTUITION」の路線に完全に戻ったわけではなく、まだまだオルタナになりたい部分や、「昔みたいな歯の浮くような歌詞はちょっと」、という本音も見え隠れする。
　しかしまぁ、これだけメロディックになれば、ある程度ファンも納得するだろう。バンドとしては、最大限ファンに配慮したつもりだと思われる（苦笑）。キーボードが目立つ曲も入るようになったし、ゴージャスなコーラスが聴ける曲もある。完全復活まで、もう一歩と言った所か。
　オルタナ・ロックをやるのも良いが、曲毎にどちらにするか、はっきりした方が良いと思う。アルバムの前半はオルタナ・ロック、後半はピュア・メタルのように、完全に分離してしまえば、どっちつかずで結局「両ファンとも不満」のようにならなくて済むはず。

03年、ミニアルバム『Taste』で、復調の兆しが見えてきたところで出されたのが、04年の『My Religion』。「Lonely Nights」の１曲だけでも買ってよかったと思えるぐらいの出来だ。かつての輝きがどうこうではなく、今も素晴らしいバンドだと認識できた。その他、03年の『Taste』にも収録されていた底抜けに明るい「Satellite」や、TNTらしいバラード「Perfectly」など、素晴らしい曲が収録されている。間違いなく買いだ。
