１９９８年、ＬＯＶＥ　ＬＯＶＥ　ＡＬＬ　ＳＴＡＲＳと行ったツアーのライブ。「春だったね」「ともだち」「落陽」「イメージの詩」等の懐かしい曲が新しいアレンジでよみがえる。ほかに「今日までそして明日から」「花嫁になる君に」「まにあうかもしれない」などのメドレーも収録されている。

1999年のツアーを収録したDVDであるから、まだ瀬尾バンドをバックしたビッグサウンドに到達する前の拓郎であるが、当時はキンキとのテレビに出まくっていた頃でもあり、また肺がんを煩う前の拓郎でもあり、乗りに乗っている感がよく出たDVDである。ライブ盤であって、音質、映像ともにそれほど良くはないが、それがかえってライブの楽しい雰囲気を盛り上げているのかもしれない。こういうDVDを見ると、やはり拓郎はフォークの人間ではなく、ロックやR＆Bのミュージシャンなのだなと改めて認識する。タイトルの「全部だきしめて」はDVDの最後に収められた作品であるが、楽しさがいっぱいである。気軽に聞けるコンサートとしてこのライブは必見だ。

髪の毛が短くなった拓郎、キイは下げても声はすばらしい拓郎、なんだかんだ
言っても今の拓郎はむかしの良さとは違うむしろ、「本物の良さ」みたいなものを
感じます。拓郎楽曲の中でイメージの詩が一番好きです。
LOVE　LOVE　ALLスターズの編曲も見事で、同曲がまるまる
全部収録され、かつ昔の歌声がテープで流れるシーンがあり、そんなこんなの
遊び心が楽しい仕上がりになっています。だだちょっと、画像がボケボケなのが
残念か。
最後にバックコーラスのお姉さまは「心のボーナス」ですな。
