ゴア描写はありません。血漿もほぼありません。ＣＧ特撮もありません。が、余韻を残す怖さ・印象的な演出＆音楽・魅力的な登場人物があります。ホラー＝グロテスクで悪趣味な映画と思われる方は是非本作をご覧下さい。恐怖映画の金字塔です。買い直すのは辛いですが価値はありました。本作は米ＴＶ版（約96分）に以下が追加された最長版（約101分)です。●マイケル判決シーン（主治医交代場面）●マイケル脱走後の病室シーン（扉にシスターの文字場面）●バスローブのローリーシーン（アニーの電話場面）

4.0 out of 5 stars うーん個人的には劇場公開版の方が好きかな・・・, 2008/11/26
ハロウィンには今まで主に
劇場公開版とテレビ放映版（エロ・グロ等をカットし子供マイケルの描写を少しプラスしたもの）の二種類があったらしく
今回のこのDVDはその両方を足して
テレビでカットされたシーンが復活しつつ、新たに撮った子供マイケルの描写をプラスしてあるものみたいで
現在出ているものの中では最長らしいです

ただ、個人的には子供マイケルの細かい描写で中途半端に人間味が出て、ブギーマンの正体不明の不気味さを削いでしまっている感じがして
このver.はあまりよいと思いませんでした

あと
二つ折りの「削除シーン＆新たに撮ったシーンの解説書」が入っているのがとても親切な感じでよかったです

作品自体はもう言うまでもなく面白いです!とても低予算映画とは思えない完成度の高さ!

このDVDについてあえて他の方と違うところに注目するのなら、同封されてるEXTENDEDバージョンについての解説書?がすごくわかりやすく作ってあります。これは作品を見る上で、かなり役に立つと思いました。

ちなみに別バージョンでオリジナル劇場版もDVDリリースされてますが、マニアなら両方持ってて損はないと思います。このDVDには予告とキャストプロフィールぐらいしか特典がないのですが、オリジナル劇場版にはメイキングやスチールギャラリーなど充実した特典が入ってますから!
どちらもオススメですよ!
