全盛期とは変わり、AOR主体の音楽となったDEEN。
それでもどこかに昔のPopsの色が残る、ロックとポップの融合というような音楽になっているような気がします。
「翼を風に乗せて」「ユートピアは見えてるのに」オリコントップ１０シングルが２つ入ったアルバム。
地に足をつけた活動をしているDEENの進歩が,
確実に見られる作品になっています。

第一曲目の「ユートピアは見えているのに」で、手に入れかけたUTOPIAを失ってしまう。
次の曲からは、明るい内容の曲が続く。それを嘆かず前に進んでいく、前向きな姿勢が掲示される。
しかし、その歩みは迷路へと迷い込んだのか、うつむき加減の曲に。
やがて、ラブソングが登場する。恋が、愛が、迷路を案内してくれるかのように。

そして最後の曲、「いくつものありがとう」で、ついに理想郷へとたどりつく。
彼らがデビューからの十年をかけて見出した、とても彼ららしい理想郷だと思う。

どちらかというとサウンドが暗い、それに重くなっている。
もっと軽快なサウンドを引き出したAORにしてほしいと思うのが
正直なところ。池森氏の歌声を引き立たせることに着目した
サウンドが失われているような気もする。
聴かせるところはそれぞれギターなりキーボードはもっと聴かせて
池森氏の歌声を聴かせるところではもっと彼に合わせたサウンド、

バックコーラスをした方がいいのではないだろうか。
ライブでは一体感を感じることができなかった。
