単純な感動モノかと思っていたのですが、それだけではありませんでした。ちょこちょこ毒が効いていたり、深刻なシーンが挿入されていたり。
なので、ちょっと大人向きかもしれません。
どこまでが実話なのかはわかりませんが、笑いあり涙ありです。
練習シーンが多くあるので、最後の本番シーンでは感動＆笑いが何割にも増して楽しめます。

脇役陣も豪華で、山田隆夫、高田聖子、山田邦子など。無駄なシーンはありません。。

リチャード・ギア&ジュリア・ロバーツのハリウッド作品とは全く関係ないお話です。間違える人なんていない？そうですか。

淡路恵子、イーデス・ハンソン、風見章子、草村礼子、正司照枝、絵沢萠子、馬渕晴子。ベテランたちが上手いのですよ、本当にみんな。酸いも甘いも噛分けたひと癖もふた癖もある人たちなのですが、さすがに芸達者。台詞回し、間、立ち位置、姿勢など年輪を重ねた方々が持つ「厚み」のもつ迫力を見せていただきました。
といっても「胸焼けがしそう」な濃いお話ではなくて、気軽に見て笑って、少し泣いて、「うーん年寄りがこんなに元気なら、若いもんはもうちょっと元気出さないといけないかな。」という気持ちにさせていただけました。

これだけ元気で個性的で魅力的な女性が集まっては、撮影が大変だっただろうなと想像して笑ってしまいます。

市川実日子さんが上手です。もっと評価されるべき若手だと思います。

「居酒屋ゆーれい」などで知られる渡邊孝好監督による2002年の作品です。出演は西田尚美、淡路恵子、風見章子、草村礼子、イーデス・ハンゾン、正司照枝、絵沢萌子、馬淵晴子、風吹ジュンなど。

何も先入観も予備知識もなく観た作品ですが、観ているうちにドンドン引き込まれていきます。都会で目標を見失った孫（西田尚美）が帰郷し無聊をかこっていたところ、スーパー・ポジティブ思考の祖母（淡路恵子）が立ち上げた「おばあちゃん劇団」の脚本・演出を担当することで、目標を新たに見出していきます。それよりも、超ベテラン女優陣の素晴らしいこと！「いい歳して恥ずかしい」「演技なんてできない」と後ろ向きになりがちな茶飲み友達を劇団に引きずり込み、ひたすら鼓舞する淡路恵子のパワフルな演技は秀逸！そして脇をかためる仲間たちも次第に芝居の面白さに目覚め、人生の終盤にさしかかっても「いくつになってもやればできる！」と生き生きとした表情へと変わっていくさまを、きっちり演じています。

予期せぬ仲間の死、そして困難を乗り越えてこぎつけた初上演、そして惜しみない万雷の拍手。不覚にも泣きそうに。諦めてはいけない、年齢なんて関係ない、という素敵なメッセージを贈ってくれたベテラン女優陣に感謝です。若い人にはあまりピンと来ないかもしれませんが、色々な節目に差し掛かっている人にとっては、かなりの元気をもらえるはずです。
