歌手さとう宗幸さんは、仙台市にあるＦＭラジオのＤＪ時代に番組のコーナーでリスナーから寄せられた詩に曲をつけてた。「青葉城恋唄」はそんな経緯で生まれたとか。個人的に男性歌手は「クリアなにごりの無い声」が好きで彼にはそれがあった。この曲が世に出るまでには色々なドラマがあったことも最近知った。仙台市は私が当時あこがれていた街だった。仕事帰りのカーラジオから流れた「青葉城恋唄」は澄み切った川の流れを髣髴とさせ実に美しい旋律と言葉で出来ていた。爆発的なヒットを飛ばした。穏やかなメロディラインは心が和みざらついた心を癒してくれる。日本語が美しいこと改めて感じることができます。日本語をもう一度耳で目で確かめませんか？
