戦前のラジオ体操(国民保険体操)と言うものは、どう言う物であったのか？
ラジオ体操がどのような経緯で出来たのか、戦後(今とは違うとても難しい体操があったのですが)どのようにして行われてきたのか･･･と言った事も、一連の体操動作解説も掲載された分厚いブックレットが網羅しています。

特に戦前の第２体操。両手をバンザイしながら片足飛び。

現在街中で行ったら、確実に街を歩く人たちの失笑を誘うような体操動作だが、60年ぐらい前はこれをやっていた・・・
そういう驚きにも出会える一枚です。

残念な事は現在のラジオ体操第一が、聴き慣れたあのピアノ演奏では無いことだが、
「新しい朝が来た、希望の朝だ」もフルコーラス、みんなの体操も動作解説付きで収録されている。

ラジオ体操の事をもっと知りたい人には、良い資料になるのではないでしょうか。

私は普段、なるべく定期的に体を動かしたり、筋力トレーニングをしたりするよう心がけていますが、仕事で忙しい日にはそのような余裕がありません。そんなとき、私はこのCDに合わせてラジオ体操をすることにしています。ラジオ体操はテレビでも毎日放送されていますが、放送時間が固定されていますので、生活スケジュールに合わないときは視聴することができません。

でも、このCDを使えばいつでも体操ができます。

このCDには、戦前版のラジオ体操から現行の“みんなの体操”まで、合計時間67分にわたって収録されています。ですから、その時の気分に合わせて好きな体操を選べます。ラジオ体操と言えば、私は現行の第1と第2、そしてみんなの体操しか知らず、以前存在した第3はアクロバティックで難しいから廃止されたと噂で聞いたくらいだったので、このCDは歴史的資料としても興味深いものでした。しかし、何よりもラジオ体操にはこんなに多くの種類があったのだ、という事実に驚かされました。解説書にはそれぞれの体操の動き方の図解が載っていますので、ところどころ想像力で補いながら体を動かしてみると、意外と楽しむことができました。

ところで、このCDに収録されている現行のラジオ体操第1は、私たちが普段耳にしているピアノ版ではなく、オーケストラの版です。これが、まるで「映画 クレヨンしんちゃん 嵐を呼ぶモーレツ！オトナ帝国の逆襲」の20世紀博にでも出てきそうな、時代の薫りが感じられるバージョンだったので、すっかり気に入ってしまいました。皆さんもこのCDを購入されたら、まず18曲目をお聴きになってみて下さい。

ラジオ体操をするだけで体が軽くなることを、日々実感しています。これは1日5分足らずの運動で健康が維持できる、忙しい現代人にもピッタリな健康法だと思われます。

ラジオ体操好きの人にとり、その主題歌は日本の屈指のスタンダードナンバーだと思います。このディスクに収録されている国民的歌手藤山一郎のその歌は、これを聞くただそれだけのためにこのディスクを購入しても十分価値あり、と感じずにいられないほどの感動ものです。
