   R&Bシンガーとしてデビュー。しかし、大成功を収めた前作『ミスアンダストゥッド』では元4ノン・ブロンズのリンダ・ペリーを担ぎだして、大胆にロックにアプローチしたPiNK。『チャーリーズ・エンジェルズ　フル・スロットル』の主題歌「フィール・グッド・タイム」を含むこの3rdアルバムでは全16曲中8曲で、なんと現代のパンク・ヒーロー、ランシドのティム・アームストロングがソングライティングとプロデュースで参加。前作以上にロック色濃い作品となった。

   しかも、従来のクラブ・ミュージック風のアプローチやR&Bを忘れたわけじゃない。方向性を変えたと言うよりは、元々ある多彩なバックグラウンドを一気に開花させた印象だ。そして、そんな幅広さを力強い歌声が1本の図太い流れに束ねあげている。今回も参加しているリンダ・ペリーに加え、BLINK182のトラヴィス、ランシドのマット・フリーマン、元ワイヤー・トレインのブライアン・マクリード、ジョン・フィールズら、ミュージシャン使いがロック・ファンのツボを妙に刺激する。（山口智男）

3rdアルバムは、前回に比べハード＆スパイシーな曲が揃い、P!NKのハスキーボイスがその魅力を十二分に発揮していると感じました！
ジャケットから想像がつく通り、可愛らしいという雰囲気は微塵もありません（笑）むしろかっこいいです。
あの少しかすれた独特の声が、アップテンポの曲もバラードも、セクシー且つ切なく歌い上げてくれていると思います。

（でも、逆にかすれ声が苦手な方は、耳についてしまうかもしれません。心地良いかすれ具合なので、是非TRYしてみてほしいです笑）
今日は車を飛ばしたい、という日にピッタリな曲が入ってますし（9や10）、チャーリーズエンジェル・フルスロットルの主題歌も入っていて、話題性もあると思います。

うまく表現出来ないのが本当にもどかしいですが、最近の若手女性ミュージシャンの中で、かなりかなり異色を放っています。
これを聴いたら、きっともう普通のCDでは物足りなくなってしまいますよ^^　「違い」を実際にその耳で感じ取ってみてほしいです！

これこそPINKと、うなずける作品だ。これこそエンターテインメント！ミージカルを聞いているようで、ロックのライブを体感しているようでこの作品は聞く人をいろいろな所に導いてくれる。そこまで、一つのCDに多様性が見られるのは久しぶり。アルバムのタイトルが「TRY THIS」となってるのも納得がいく。PINKはすごい。多くの世代でも楽しめる作品だと思う。123は快適にロックしたりポップスしたりで、67なんかはR&B系を交えて大人っぽく。11は陽気に歌ったり、様々な舞台を展開してくれます。かなりお勧めの一品。シングルカットの数も期待できそうだ。このCDなくして今のポップス界はかたれないのかも…と思ったりもしました。是非試聴でもいいから聴いてほしい！！！！！！！！

1曲目"Trouble"から、P!nkのパンクロックワールドが炸裂！かっこよくてセクシーなパーティーソングのオンパレードといった感じ。
CDショップでもR&Bコーナーに置いてあることが多いけれども、それ自体が不思議な気がするほどの内容です。
パンキッシュなナンバーの中にあって、67のなかなか聴かせるナンバーもあり、ヴォーカルの実力もしっかりしてます。
