GAUZEのセルフィシュレコードからの88年に発売された3枚目のアルバムです。誰に媚びることもなくひたすら爆走し、20年以上ポリシーを貫くまさにパンクの中のパンク！！説教くさくはなく説得力のある歌詞を機関銃を乱射するかのようにハイ・テンションでブチかますフグには脱帽です。ボーナステイクとしてLive in Scottland(Aug.89)の音源が収録されており、音質は良くないが張りつめた緊迫感を持った鬼気迫る凄まじい演奏が展開されていてGAUZEは何処でもGAUZEと再認識しました。また最近消毒GIGに行きましたが、相変わらず一息も入れないパフォーマンスに年月の経過を感じらませんでした。「死人に口なし」はGIGで皆が合掌の名曲です。「限界は何処だ」のタイトルもGAUZEの3枚目らしく首尾一貫な表れでしょう。

ガーゼのアルバムとしては３枚目。前作，EQUALIZING DISTORTが名盤の誉れも高いアルバムだったのですが，今作ではタイトルも前作日本語にしたうえ，歌詞の英語を極端に少なくするなど，日本のハードコアとして唯一無二の音を出している。
残念なのは１曲目のギターの音からも分かるとおり，ちょっと音がイマイチかなぁというくらいですが，それも含めてハードコアと思える人は気にならないと思います。
