待ちに待ったメジャーフルアルバム…
期待に胸を膨らませ中世ヨーロッパを思わせるOPENING曲に聴き入る。
この曲だけでも胸がバックバクで破裂しそうになる。

次の瞬間、シンフォニックの帝王「ラプソディ」を彷彿させるドラマティックなスピードチューンが炸裂。「ジャパメタ」という単語はもはや"メンバーが日本人"というだけの意味でしかないと改めて痛感する。

スローナンバーも含め全篇に渡り強力なサポート陣営に支えられ力強さを増したYAMA-Bのボーカルと若干22歳にして超絶テクニックとセンスを併せ持つ鬼才ギタリスト脩が才能を遺憾なく発揮している。
インディーズ時代の名曲も多数収録されている為、聴き比べてみるのも楽しみの一つだろう。
何しろこんなにドキドキワクワクな作品は!何年ぶりだろうか｡｡｡

脩が活躍中のアニメタルも含め、早くも次回の作品が待ち遠しい（笑

【特徴】
・男性Vo、英語詞
・テクニカルかつメロディアスなHR/HM系
・バラードから疾走系、プログレチックなものまで多種多様
・ギターとキーボードのバトルもアリ

【オススメポイント】
・ハイトーンなボーカル。
・テクニカルとメロディアスをしっかり同居させた確実な完成度。
・ギターは一人だが、ハモリ等も多数ありツインギター派も満足できます。
・特に02、11はメロスピ好きは必聴のクサメロの嵐。
・ただし、上記以外の曲ではテクニカル過ぎたり、クサメロが引っ込んだりという点があるので、4つ星とさせていただきます。(個人的な趣向)

はじめの印象としては、メジャーデビュー当時のHELLOWEENに感じが似ていると思いました。
古いですがHELLOWEENの『Keeper of the Seven Keys Part.I〜II』が好きな人は、きっと気に入ると思います。メロディアスでハイトーンのVocalなところも似ています。マイケル・キスクほどクリアーではありませんが。
Syuのギターはアニメタルでよく聴いていましたが、オリジナルもカッコイイですね。インスト曲は哭きまくってます。
