このレビューを読んでる人は幸運かもしれません。常に新しいものを求めるあなた。もしこのＣＤを試聴できたら１曲目のイントロを聴いただけでレジに持って行くこと間違いなしの名盤ですよこれは。これを読んでいる時点で興味があるわけでしょうから、もう買うしかないですね。Ｇｔ、Ｂｓ、Ｄｍの３人があの現フラワーキングスのメンバが担当していますが、同バンドのレプリカ的存在ではありませんよ。コンポーザであるKey担当の人（知らない）が物凄い才能なんですな。攻撃的なKeyはフラキンよりも緊張感が増していますよ。さらに全編で聞けるSaxもとても素晴らしく泣かせてくれます。ジャズピアノもオシャレです。Key好きの方は本当に買いの作品ですよ！！

出だしのキーボードから「あれ、ヘンリー８世？」とニヤつかせるところに過去のプログレへのオマージュを感じる。
さらにはハットフィールドまで（これはカバー）登場して、楽しくてしょうがない。
それなのに、音は氷のような荘厳さがある。リリカルな音とジャズロックをうまく融合させた傑作ではないでしょうか。

７０年代プログレファンならば、ぜひ聴いてください。

Gensesisの大成功に隠れてしまい、世界的にぱっとしなかったけれどもコアなファンにはストーカー的執着で追っかけられているVDGG。ボーカルのハミルはソロやゲスト出演で露出機会が多いけど、VDGGの特徴を定義したデヴィッドジャクソンのSaxはもっと正しく評価されるべきでしょう。本作のユニークな、音大卒業の古典的価値観で凝り固まった人から見ればえげつないsaxの音はそのデヴィッドジャクソンです。

Tangentのメンバーはプログレプレイヤー現役時代には鼻たれ小僧の年齢だったはずなのに調査能力は秀でている。シンクレアを探して、ジャクソンを探し出して、良い仕事をしています。

プログレオタクの遠吠えと思い込まずに、聴いてみてください。当時のプログレがいかに妥協を許さない求道者的な神々しい存在であったかを。Tangentは最新のテクノロジーでより綺麗なノイズの無い音を聞かせてくれます。昔のメロトロンは所詮アナログカセットテープを回しただけの単調で濁った音でしたから、現代テクノロジーが産み出した本来の有るべき姿のクリアーな音で楽しましてくれるTangentは偉大です。安易な企画出版ではないですよ。
