何だこれは？
これが最初聞いたときの感想です。
何しろ今までのラップコアスタイルも少しは残ってますが、大半が穏やかな曲調で歌い上げるようなスタイルになってるんですから・・
本当にびっくりして最初はリンプにはこんなのは求めてないとがっかりしました。
しかし、聴いていくうちにだんだんとこの良さがわかってきた気がします。

実際スタイルはは変われど曲の質自体はさほど落ちてませんし、リンプのこうゆう曲もいいかなと今では思ってます。

余談ですが１１曲目のタイトルは発売延期等で野次飛ばされまくり、ブーイングの嵐に遭ったフレッドの心境をそのまま映し出したみたいなタイトルですね（笑

私は洋楽には疎いので、メンバーチェンジの事とかよく知りません。
ですから、純粋に先入観無しで聴いた感想を書きます。

前作は、いい意味でのやんちゃさがあったような気がします。
もっとこう、圧倒的に迫ってくるような凄みがありました。
本作は、それが随分大人しくなって、ありきたりの音楽になってしまっているような気がします。

もっと勢いよく暴れ回るようなリンプが聴きたかったです。

ちなみに、７曲目の"build a bridge"は、ＷＷＥのＰＰＶ「サバイバーシリーズ2003」のテーマ曲になっていました。

最初に聴いたときはカッコイイと思っていましたが、何度か聴くと、微妙な感じがしてきました。曲としての完成度は高いと思います。ギターはしっかり弾けてますし、ベースも効いてて良し。ドラムも上手い上手い。ＤＪはノーコメント（何故）。ただボーカルがなぁ~。呻き声にしか聞こえません。ちゃんとシャウトしてるし、ラップもスピーディーだし上手いし、なんですが１５曲目の「Ｂｅｈｉｎｄ　Ｂｌｕｅ　Ｅｙｅｓ」を聴くと絶対呻き声に聞こえます。リンプビズキットのアルバムで買ったのはコレが初めてなんですが、他のバンドと聴き比べても何か不足してる感じがします。完成度は高いのに不足感がある。微妙なアルバムです。きっとメンバーの誰かがぶち壊しにしてるんでしょうけど。しかしバラードとかうるさい曲が好きな方にはお勧めです。だいたい半々ぐらいで入ってますので。
