どうして、DVDが出ないんだろうとずっと待っていた作品でした。ジョニーが自ら「僕がやらなきゃいけなかった。」というだけあってはまりまくっています。ずいぶんと以前の作品で何度も観ているにもかかわらずドキドキしながら観てました。ストーリーに大きな起伏はないのですが、ゆったりと心が優しくなり、セクシーなジョニーが堪能できる一石二鳥の作品です。マーロンブランドやフェイダナウェイもいい味出してます。

現実、あんな歯の浮く台詞を言える男性はいない・・というか、いたら寒い。だけどその反面、いてほしいと願ってしまう（笑）ドンファンと出会った人は皆、男女問わず彼に惹かれてしまう。惹かれるだけでなく、マーロン・ブランド演じる精神科医師は、ドンファンの愛の遍歴に触れていくうちに影響されていく。ジョニー・デップのフェロモンが、イヤらしくなくとてもセクシー♪甘~い二枚目俳優ではなく、危険な魅力のジョニーならではのドンファン。身近にこんな人がいたら、人生が違っていたかもね！そんな、ファンタジックな気持ちになりました。きっと観たら、愛の貴公子ドンファンの虜になりますよ！

派手な作品ではありませんが、私には涙した場面がいくつかありました。それは、私が美しくもスタイル良くもうまれなかったせいかもしれませんが...彼(ジョニー：ドンファン)の言葉に心うたれたのです。
そして、老夫婦であってもステキに男と女でいられるところにも...。
今の、奪うばかりの世にあって、特に男性に観てほしい作品です。
