~もはや日本人初のR&Bだとかいう代名詞をかざしている場合ではない。
ボーカル・ギター・ベース・ドラム・キーボード全てが粘っこく絡み付く。
何よりミッキーのオルガンが悲鳴を上げているしボーカルは国境を越えている。
ソフトロック定番の５９番街までもが黒く塗りたぐられてしまっているのにただただ驚愕。
この手のライヴ録音には（クリームのような~~）ありがちなギターソロドラムソロもなく、
全く飽きずに単純に演奏に集中できることもまた良い。
オリジナルは少ないですがカップスの場合は演奏だけで十分安心。
贅沢言えば原寸大ジャケットを眺めながら聴くのがよろしいかと思います。
スタジオ録音では表せないグループでの爆発力がしっかり密封されている、
ニューロックでも勿論グループサウンズ~~でもない正真正銘のブルースロックの名盤。~

本を読んだらどうしても欲しくなった。
たくさんアルバムあってようわからんかった
ほんの記憶を頼りにあたりをつけた
大当たり、本当にぶっ飛んだ、これが６９年の演奏か
チャーとやってた加部さんさん知っとる
ゴダイゴのミッキー吉野さんも知っとる
こんなに恐ろしい過去があったとは
絶対に聴かないかん
「長い髪の少女」は汚点なのか

これ出たのが、69年か。もぅ・・カップスの突っ張り具合がたまらない。MC無しでぶっ飛ばす。リアルタイムで体験できた方はマジで羨ましいです。ゼンのブルース、聴いて悶えろ。
