音源は94年だし、ジャケ具合もちょっとイマイチだしそれほど期待していなかったら、中身はとんでもない豪華さ！という具合。歴史に残る名バラード「NOW AND FOREVER」と「RIGHT HERE WAITING」は、凄いアイテムとしてコレクションに加えられて大満足だ。
歌声は温かさと共に最高難易度の技術を持つ。男版のマライアキャリーの自由さと甘さを持つという感じか。小さい頃から音楽一家の元で養われたサラブレッドの才能は、他の歌手が肩を並べられないほどの領域だ。確かな音程、安定したリズム感、その上で流れる息の量と敏感に反応する高音。少しハスキーな様子が歌詞の影に甘く結びつく魅力。彼はそれらを制御して五線譜の上を自由に跳ねている。アマチュアイズムでは近寄れない、高みで鳴らすバラードを体感してほしい。
