5.0 out of 5 stars これぞ賛美ロック！, 2008/10/28
世俗社会の影響を受けた現代音楽によって、本当に聖なる神を賛美することができるのだろうか？
そんなことを考え続けてきた私にとって、David Crowder Bandとの出会いは、まさに革命的な出来事でした。
ここには確かに「賛美」がある。
そして、現代人が伝統に縛られることなく、自由な気持ちで賛美できる「音楽」がある。

音楽が神様からのプレゼントであるということ、
そして賛美はそのプレゼントへのお返しであるということ、
だから、この歌声は神との対話なのだということ。
そんなことを教えてくれるアルバムです。

名曲「o praise Him」の中の「ハレルヤ」は、何度聴いても涙が出ます。
他には何もいらない。ずっと神様を賛美していたい。
そんな思いにひたれる名盤です。

初めて彼らのアルバムを買ったが、やっぱりカッコイイ!!ただのロックではなく、スクラッチあり、インストありで、楽しませてくれる。似た曲がなく、彼らの引き出しの多さに驚いた。
やはりボーカリストの歌唱力は素晴らしく、引き付けるものがある。バンドの演奏も素晴らしく、ギターの音がカッコイイ♪

前作から音楽性を特に変化させることはありませんが、これだけポップな曲ばかりを作って、似たような曲をほとんど作らない才能は本当に恐ろしいものがあります。
今作では前作よりかはロック的な勢いがある曲も増えました。ピコピコしたエレクトロサウンドと、ストリングスの絡みがある意味派手でもありますが、一つの音たりとも無駄がありません。

文句なしの名盤です。
特に＃3は彼らの代表的名曲と言っても過言ではないと思います。ポップパンクのような＃8もオススメです。
＃13のインストトラックがまた胸にグサっとくる感じがします。
