A new brand of hard rock has hit the scene. It's a hybrid of metal, hardcore, punk and 'emo' and it's called From Autumn To Ashes (FATA). Hailing from Long Island, NY, FATA have built a loyal following by playing with a whole host of different bands featuring different styles (Finch, Thursday, Taking Back Sunday, Warped Tour). 絶叫系ヴォーカルとクリアヴォーカルの組み合わせが絶妙です。
メタル/ハードコア/エモそれぞれいいところだけ抽出してブレンド
したらFATAができましたって感じです。
曲の展開もドラマチックで聴いてて飽きない。
ドラムがあんだけ叩きながらヴォーカルもっていうのが凄いすね。
Dojoで生で”The After Dinner Payback”聴いたときにゃもう
感動でした。

フレンドリーで気さくな兄ちゃんたちでますます好きになりました。

　ニューヨーク州ロングアイランド出身のニュースクール系メタリックハードコアバンドのセカンド。
　相変わらず’これでもか’ってほどの激情ぶりで、
　ツーバスもドコドコというよりドカンドカンとかなりパワフル。
　しかし、やはり流行の流れの為か、リードヴォーカルも叫ぶ事よりも歌う事に目覚めたようだ。
前作同様、疾走感あふれるメタリックサウンドは期待出来るが、
　よりメロディアスに、より聴きやすくなった為
　前作の様な激ニュースクールサウンドを期待している人から大きな賛否の声が上がりそうな作品に仕上がった。
　曲構成自体も前より良くなったのかどうかも怪しい話で、

　曲展開なんかも若干読めてしまえるような在り来たりな楽曲が目立つようになった。
　前作のような先の読めない曲展開に彼らの魅力を感じていた自分としては聴いた後の不満は隠せない。
　
　ただ、よりメロディアスになった分、
　前作には無かったような大胆な広がりを見せる楽曲なんかも幾つかあるので

　そういう意味では彼ら也に成長した作品と呼べるだろう。
　スクリーモが好きな人なら難なく受け入れる事の出来る作品だと思う。
