２曲目のFire,Fire後半で聞く事のできるブレイクが素晴らしいです。ここを聞くためだけに買っても損はしません。この曲の力強さと楽しさの同居はほかのアーティストでは聞く事が出来ないものです。また、ラストのTwo Ladies in de Shade of de Banana Treeもすばらしい。軽やかなドラムに躍るようなボーカル、それを包み込むホーンセクションそれらが完璧に調和して新しいラテンミュージックのジャンルを作ってしまったかのようです。

｢音楽って素晴らしいんだ！｣って改めて気づかせてくれたバンドがダブルフェイマスでした。それはライブでの出来事。

確かに、｢Live in Japan｣を聴くと、ダブルフェイマスはライブでこそ力を発揮するタイプのバンドだということがよく分かります。音楽の持つ根源的な楽しさ、土着的な歓喜、に気づくことになります。まあ、つまりは、もう１度言うけど「音楽っていいもんだよな｣ってことなんですね。

エゴラッピン中野良恵さんのボーカルは小気味いい。ちゃきちゃき娘っぽいのは、畠山さんとまたキャラクターが違っていて、それも面白いです。

今までのアルバムで少し気になっていた録音状態について、このアルバムではきちんとクリアーされていて、安心して聴けます。
