何といっても名曲、
「JOURNEY OF LIFE」「手紙」がシングル楽曲ではなく、
諫山実生さんの歌声を引き立てるピアノアレンジの楽曲が収録されているのが私としては嬉しい限りです。

ゆったりとした時にぼんやりと聴いていると透明感のあるサウンドで、清潔な印象が心に響きます。

特に「竹田の子守唄」は清冽ながらたおやかな雰囲気が絶妙です。
諫山実生さん以外には歌えない純和風の楽曲は今の時代には貴重な存在であると私は思います。

個人的にシングル化してほしい「あやとり」など隠れた名曲を巧みに配し、
ラストのノスタルジックで悲しみをはらんだ「秋の気配」で感慨深く幕を閉じる。
何度聴いても聞き飽きない実力作であると言えるでしょう。

何が良いってまず声質。この声を活かすにはシンプルなアレンジがベストってことですね。3曲目の「ふたり」という曲などはフェイ・ウォンの「天空」あたりを想い起こさせる節回しも聴かせます。

それから構成選曲の巧さ。荒井由美と小田和正の佳曲に「竹田の子守歌」とカバー3曲に自作曲5曲で、計8曲・36分という短さ。これが箸休めにはピッタリ。

あとは東芝EMIなので見事にCCCD災渦に巻き込まれてるんですが、4枚出てるアルバムの中でコレだけ本物のCD。この点も安心。

恐らくセールス的には爆発しないヒトだとは思うのですが、東芝EMIには最後の良心を振り絞ってこういう人材をじっくり育てて欲しいものです。

いい曲はありますし、平均水準以上の一枚ではあると思います。しかし、諫山さんのファーストアルバム「撫子の華」が何しろ非常に完成度の高い一枚でしたので、「撫子の華」と比較すると「花心詩」がやや落ちることは否めません。全作が良すぎたので星は4つにしておきました。ただ、繰り返しますが、水増しされたアルバムの多い中、この一枚は水準以上の作品です。しかも、「撫子の華」のわずか半年後の作品であることを考えれば、やはり諫山さんは才能のある方だと思います。
