ベルがまだ野獣の城にいた頃のお話です。野獣との仲がわりと良くなっているので、本編でいうと晩餐会前・・・ってところでしょうか。クリスマスの準備をするベルと、それを阻止しようとするフォルテ。基本キャラ＋オリジナルのキャラも出てきていますが、本編の雰囲気を壊すことなく出来上がっています。

挿入歌の「クリスマスがある限り」はとても良い曲ですよ。英語圏ではCDが発売されているようですが、日本語版も是非作って欲しいですね。もちろん、英語版のCDの発売も是非！

3.0 out of 5 stars オリジナルの未公開部分が見れる！, 2003/12/8
名作「美女と野獣」をベースにクリスマスバージョンで展開する楽しいアニメーション。物語の設定は、ベルが野獣の城でまだ囚われの身になっている時のクリスマスでの出来事を回想するというもの。本編のストーリーそのものは、オリジナルに比べれば軽い内容で気楽な作品になっている。むしろ見所は、オリジナルでは冒頭にステンドグラス調のイラストとナレーションだけで語られる、王子が野獣にされてしまうエピソードが回想シーンで登場する点や、ベルと王子が幸せに暮らす様子など、オリジナルでは見られない場面が見れて楽しい。だが、アニメの精巧度はオリジナルほどではないので、あまり期待はしすぎないように。「シンデレラ２」もそうだが、完成度の高いアニメの続編を作るのは難しい。

これは美女と野獣のクリスマスのお話なんですが、美女と野獣を見たことがない人でもおすすめできます☆もちろん見たことがある人のほうがより楽しめますね！原作には出てきていないキャラもいますし★個々のキャラの性格がいろいろで楽しく見れますよ。ハラハラドキドキのこのお話はぜひ見てください♪♪
