日本盤より先に輸入盤がでましたが、DVDに字幕がつくことを期待して日本盤を待っていた。
しかし、日本盤には字幕がつかなかった。
これから買おうという方には安い輸入盤をお勧めいたします。

ボウイ結婚記念盤とも言えるオリジナル盤＋今では入手困難となっていた曲（バージョン）を集めたＣＤ２＋別売されていたビデオを収録したＤＶＤと、何で新作「リアリティ」と同じ日に発売しなけりゃいけないのか理解に苦しむほど豪華な３枚組。

２枚目に入っている超入手困難同名映画主題歌「リアルクールワールド」が入っているだけでもありがたい（実際にはＢＴＷＮより発表は先）。
惜しまれるのは、ＤＶＤのボウイのコメントは歌詞カードに対訳をつけるのではなく字幕で入れて欲しかった。
新作「リアリティ」よりお高いですが、皆さん買いましょう。
新作に敬意を表して星４つです。

ティンマシーンを経て6年ぶりのソロ。チャート1位を獲得。
亡くなる寸前のミックロンソンの参加もありとても重要なアルバム。
クリーム、モリッシーのカヴァーもあり豪華な内容なのだ。
作詞が結婚ボケでややボウイらしくない点はあるがデジタルジャズファンクと呼べそうな
当時は結構新鮮さを感じる作品だったのだー。
また今回のスペシャルエディションでは何といってもdisc２に「リアルクールワールド」が収録されてるのが一番の魅力なのだー。
ティンマシーンで古典的なロックをやっていたのから一転してその当時の最新のテクノを駆使した快作で
本編の「ブラックタイホワイトノイズ」よりも前衛的な音であるのだ。
後の「アースリング」を予言していたかの様な素晴らしい出来なのだー。
ＤＶＤの方は先の方が言われてるとおりである。
また蛇足であるが「ユーヴ・ビーン・アラウンド」はボウイの片腕リーヴス・ゲイブレルスのソロ作品でも取り上げていてボウイが参加してるのだが、
そちらの方はこてこてのロックヴァージョンで個人的にはそちらの方が好きなので興味のある方は検索してみてくださいなのだー。
