総音楽集と謳うにはちと不満が残る。収録されていない音源が
あるからには第２弾をお願いしたいです。と言う事で星三つです。

初代ガンダムに熱中した人なら、これを買って損はないでしょう。
きっとガンダムの映像や当時の思い出さえよみがえってくることと思います。私はテレビの前で、手に汗を握りながら何度これらのBGMを聴いてきたか…。

機動戦士ガンダムをよりリアルに映し、そして、私たちを魅了させてやまない重要な要素の一つとして、このCDに納められた音楽は、欠くことのできない存在となっています。
また、テーマ曲、挿入歌、BGM、全て劇中では、最初から最後まで聴けることはまれなので、音楽として鑑賞すると、新たな発見もあるのではないかと思います。

私はこれらの音楽を所有できて感慨ひとしおです。
このCDは、テレビで機動戦士ガンダムを見ていた人、ビデオゲームなどで機動戦士ガンダムに触れた人など、
全てのファーストガンダムファンに、是非、聴いていただきたい作品です。

なお、劇場版の方に思い入れのある方は「機動戦士ガンダム 劇場版総音楽集」が良いかと思います。
そちらは、劇場版ならではの重厚さがあって良いです。
こちらの商品はテレビならではのチープというか、庶民的な感触があってそこが
「味と」感じられました。

　とりあえず、Disc1と2で「オリジナルサウンドトラック」と「戦場で」と「アムロよ・・・」のBGMパートはすべて押さえてある。確かに現在入手困難（と説明がある。私はそうでもない気がする。）な音源がリマスタリングされて聴けることは良い。

　で、問題はDisc3。何のためにMEコレクションにしちゃったんだろう。確かに情景は浮かぶけど、セリフがないからよくわからない部分もある。いっそのこと、「入手困難な音源」なら「アムロよ・・・」のドラマパートを全部フォローして、かつ、その他のエピソードも加えて４枚組にした方が良かったのでは？第２４話なんて「マチルダさぁーんっ」ってアムロの叫びが入ってないんじゃ無意味。他にも永井氏の「君は生きのびることができるか」の予告ナレーションや鈴置氏によるタイトルコールもない。今は映像媒体が整備されたから、という判断なのかもしれないが（しかもＤＶＤが出ちゃって今やますます価値がわからなくなっている）、それならば始めから２枚組でよかったんじゃないか？不完全燃焼につき、星一つ減。

　それから関係者の方、第２１話で使用されたストラビンスキー風のBGM（「アムロよ・・・」に収録。ただしクロストーク）も復刻（発掘かな）してくださいね。あの曲を抜きにして「COMPLETE」を名乗っちゃダメ！
