nite:life 016 is the perfect showcase for Rolandos DJ style. A mixture of revered house classics (Terrence Parker), homegrown Detroit talent (Gerald Mitchell, Mr De and Ray Merriweathers Jr.), bumping deep house (Gene Farris, Frederic Galliano, Steve Bug), the innovators (Model 500, Jeff Mills, Joey Beltram) and gnarly electro (Hell & Jonzon, Technasia), this compilation sways from futuristic beats and melodies to the underground sounds of old school house. If one compilation is to sum up the full gamut of moods and emotions sparked by the dance beat, then this surely is a contender.
