80年代にCherry Redにはまっていた人にはたまらんCD+DVDのお買い得セットです。内容は◎です。
ただし！DVDはあくまでもおまけと思った方がいいです。
DVDのみUK版(NTSC、リージョンフリー)ですが、画質は非常に悪く、簡単に言うとダビングを重ねた海賊版VHSからさらにVideoCDに落としたような酷い画質です。PAL->NTSC変換にも問題があり、動きがカクカクしています。これほど画質の悪いDVDは見たことがないです。でもオマケと割り切って、映像が拝めるだけ良しと考えましょう。

PILLOWS＆PRAYERSの１と２のお得な２枚組のカップリングCD。実力的にはやっぱり､FELTとTHE　MONOCHROME　SETが断然ぬけている感じ。全体的な出来は日本独自の編集盤だった２の方がよいと思います。
一般的にはネオアコの名盤、とされていますが私はネオアコという言葉は使いません｡何故かというとそれを言い出した人が､全くパンクやポストパンクに対して無理解な人だから。
パンクやポストパンクと並行せずに語られるネオアコ、なんて言葉はキモいだけ｡底の浅さはずいぶん前に流行った「渋谷系」並み。
なんで誰もハッキリ言わないのか、ってこれは前からずっと思ってたこと。
もちろん、音楽ファンやアーティストには何の罪もありません。
ちなみに､FELTもTHE　MONOCHROME　SETもネオアコバンドではありません。
ポストパンクバンドだよ。当たり前じゃん｡そんなの｡

チェリーレッドレーベルはさすがにおしゃれですね。 VHSよりも DVDは収録曲が増えています。これは嬉しい。 このレーベルの他の DVDも発売していただきたい。いかがですか？
