かつてLPとして発売された内容と完全に一致するのが、昔の気持ちを思い出したいファンとしては嬉しい。ゴダイゴの挿入歌・エンディングもそのままの順で入っている。音楽を聴いているだけで映画のシーンが蘇ってくる。特に最後の「終曲-別離そして新たなる出発」は、鉄郎がメーテルと別れメーテルの名前を叫びながらメーテルの乗った999を追いかけていくシーンを盛り上げた、あの音楽。非常に切なく、台詞は当然録音されていないのにも関わらず、聴いているだけで鉄郎の「メーテル！メーテル！！」という絶叫が聞こえてきそうです。

999がお好きな方なら、前にＣＤ化された時点で、
購入済でしょう。

当時、小学生の低学年だった私は、
アルバムを購入するだけのお小遣いは持っていませんでした。
祖母に、ねだって買ってもらった記憶があります。

場面場面のシーンを思い出すくらい、
聞きまくったあの頃を。
久々に購入し、聞いてみました。
やっぱり、良いです。最高です。
ゴダイゴの挿入歌・エンディングも、今聞くと新鮮で、
当時の作品への憧れを思い出します。

終盤では、メーテルへの切なさがこみ上げてきます。
青春を思い出したい方、どうぞ(^^)

小学生のときに買ったカセットテープ版を今も持ってます。
当時、何度も何度も聴いて内容を完全に覚えてしまいました（笑）。
にもかかわらず聴き飽きない名曲揃いです。
あれから２５年、こういう形で今でも手に入るというのは驚きですね。
もちろん速攻で買いました。保存版です。
