「fine」と目標とされるところは似ているけれど、全体的に地味な印象であった「fine」に比べこの作品にはワクワクさせる何かがある。どこか渇いた手触りで、人々の感情を美しいメロディに淡々と収める。このアルバムは音も歌詞もキリンジの作品の中で最もグレードが高いと私は思う。「For Beautiful Human Life」という哀れみともとれるし、皮肉にもとれるタイトルもまた作品をよく表している。

総じてキリンジの曲は映像的。
聴く側の記憶の引き出しをそっと開けてくれるので
その人なりの映像が鮮やかに浮かんでくるのでは？
他人の家（ひとんち）の芝生に土足でズカズカ入ってくるような
恩着せがましさが全くなく、いつのまにかそこにいる感じです。
武道館の成功は嬉しいけど、個人的には小さな会場でアンプラグドの

サウンドに浸れるようなアーティストでいてほしいなあ・・。

一曲目から、トゲトゲしい。キリンジのシニカルな雰囲気全開！そこに二曲目、シングルの「カメレオンガール」のキュートさとせつなさ！絶妙！

「オムニバス」を通して、自分たちのやりたいこと、奏でたい音が明確になったのではないかと感じた。ヴォーカルは、ときにしっとりオトナで、過去最高に“研ぎ澄まされて”いるし。かなりクリアー。(サウンド面でのテクなのかも）

大ラスの｢スウィートソウル」がかなりニクイ締めになっている。やられました・・。(涙）全体的にかなりバランスがいいアルバムだと思う。
前作に比べると、おとな具合も、トンガリ具合も心地よい。
