   ニューヨーク、マンハッタンを舞台に、女性4人のロマンス＆セックスを赤裸々な本音とともに描く人気海外ドラマの第5シーズン。前シーズンで4人それぞれが人生の岐路に立たされ、中でもミランダは妊娠・出産を経験したが、実生活ではキャリー役のサラ・ジェシカ・パーカーが妊娠。そのため今シーズンは、全部で8エピソードという、いつもより少なめの構成となっている。
   エイダンと別れて以来男性と縁のないキャリーだが、仕事の方は絶好調。連載していたコラムがついに単行本として出版されることになる。ミランダは慣れない（慣れる気もない？）育児に七転八倒、四苦八苦。シャーロットは離婚の痛手を乗り越えるべく、これまでになく積極的に相手探しを開始する。サマンサはリチャードと復縁し「真実の愛」を満喫するはずが、他の女に色目を使う彼に、否そんな彼にイライラする自分にウンザリし…。

みなさん、数の割に値段が…。っていっておられますけど、
Sex and the Cityはここからが泣きドコロなんです！
個人的には、サマンサのリチャードへの別れの言葉が今でも響いています。
きっと、女性なら皆さん共感できると思います。
顔つきが優しくなったミランダ。
愛ゆえに・・・のサマンサ。
新しいきざしの見えたシャーロット。

そして、出会いと別れでよりいっそう綺麗になったキャリー。
みんなとっても胸に響きます。
買わないにしても、これまでみててここでやめようかななんて人は
もったいなさ過ぎます！
ここからがメインなのに。（私に言わせればの話ですけど）
でも、6シーズンが良すぎちゃったので、☆は4つ。

4thシーズンの盛りだくさんさに比べると、どうしても物足りなさを感じてしまうシーズンです。
まぁよく考えれば、いくらドラマとはいえ、人生や恋愛のスランプや迷いの時期があるのはリアリティがあっていいのかも。

キャリーはエイダンと別れ男日照りが続きます。
私はこの状態がとても現実味があって、イヤだなぁ~と思いました。

そして4人全員が過去真剣に愛したか腐れ縁かの男性がいるわけですが、そのことが深くこのシーズンの根底に眠っている気がしました。
そこでやっぱり「ああ、そうなんだよね」って頷けるところ、これがこのドラマの最大の魅力です。

30年ほど生きていれば色々なしがらみができてくる。
恋愛についても色々です。

その中にはどうしても忘れられない人、振り返ってみ!たくなってしまうことが必ずあるものなんだろうと思いました。

このシーズンは6thシーズンへの準備のための少しスローダウンしたストーリーに仕上がっていると思います。
次のシーズンが楽しみです。

やっぱりエピソードが少ない！それなのに、お値段は対して変わらないのがとっても不満。
でもやっぱり買ってしまうのがファンゆえ辛いところだな。
