第2次世界大戦下の戦場を舞台にしたアクションシューティング「バトルフィールド1942」と拡張データセット第1弾「バトルフィールド1942 ロード・トゥ・ローマ」のセット。35種類の戦車・航空機・潜水艦・戦艦に全て乗ることができ、空中、水中、陸上全てが同じバトルフィールドで展開される。また、ガタルカナル、硫黄島、ベルリンなど16種類のマップ、15種類以上の武器を用意し、陸・海・空軍のあらゆる兵力を駆使して戦っていく。拡張データでは、第二次世界大戦下のイタリアとシチリア島の軍事作成にフォーカスし、ハスキー作戦やアンツィオ、モンテ・カッシーノの戦いなど、6種類のマップを追加できる。また、戦車や対戦車砲、戦闘爆撃機など8種類の兵器、自由フランス軍やイタリア軍の2つの軍隊を収録し、独自の「Refractor 2」エンジンにより、1つ1つの動きを鮮明に再現している。シングルモード、最大64人によるマルチプレイヤーモードの2種類で楽しむことが可能。

バトルフィールド１９４２とバトルフィールドロードトゥローマが特別編としてセットでだいぶ安くなり発売される。
高いな、とかおもしろいかな、などで迷っている人はこの機会にぜひ買ってみるといいでしょう！
個人的にはメダルオブオナーは同じようなものだが兵器が使えるということがこのゲームの一番良いとろだと思っている、特に戦闘機が面白く

操作に慣れるまで時間がかかるが一番面白い兵器だ
さらにオンライン対戦が一番の魅力である。最高６４人ででき、協力
してできる
バトルフィールドシークレットウェポンも一緒に買うといいでしょう

このゲームは第二次世界大戦の戦争アクションゲームです。

プレイヤーは零戦やタイガー戦車などの兵器に乗り、戦場を駆け回ることができます。これは特別編で本体と拡張版のＲＴＲがはいっています。ＲＴＲでは新たにモンテカッシーノなどのマップ、Ｍ１ガーランドなどの新しい武器、兵器などが追加できることができます。このゲームの醍醐味はやっぱりマルチプレイです！最大64人が参加可能で世界中から何万人がネット上で戦いを繰り広げています。

万が一このゲームに飽きたという人も、湾岸戦争ＭＯＤなどをいれると第二次世界大戦が湾岸戦争に早代わりできます。

唯一の欠点は、やはりかなりのスペックが必要とされるところでしょうか、ビデオカードも最新版を推薦します。まあこれらに達して無くても、全然ゲームはできますのでご安心を！

このゲームは名作です。買わなきゃ損ですよ！

枢軸側(日本、ドイツなど)同盟側(アメリカ、イギリスなど)
がお国の兵器を使って対戦をするゲーム。
シングルプレイは正直つまらない、使い道と言えば兵器の使い方を
マスターするくらい。
マルチプレイは楽しい、30人以上のプレイヤーとチームを組み対戦できる。
チームに「援護しろ!」などの命令を出すことが可能、まぁ相手も人間

ですので無視される可能性がありますが。
なんとこのゲーム、オペレーションフラッシュポイントのようにMODも
出ています。湾岸戦争MODのDesertCombatなどがそうです、大戦時に
飽きたら思い切って入れてみてはどうでしょぅか。
