以前発売されたバラ売りＤＶＤの半値の価格で買えるお買い得品です。
映像内容はバラ売りのものと全く同じだが、デイスクのデザイン
やボックス、ＤＶＤパッケージ等のデザインは中々グッド！です。

内容については、今更説明するまでも無いが、全世界スケールの近未来無国籍ＳＦとして良く出来ており、映像は実写映画的であり、他の同時期（７２年~７４年）のアニメーションとは比べようもなく進みすぎている程です。
リアルなキャラクターも実に良く動いており、脚本、演出も実に凝っています！

最近全１０５話を見直す機会があり「これは購入せねば！」になってしまいました。
価格は充分『お買い得』ですし、中身も充分『見所満載』です。
１９７２〜７４年製作ですが『脚本』と『演出』、そして『作画』も、２１世紀になった今でも「面白い」です。特に２年目に入ると『演出』と『作画』の『質』が更に良くなっています。
特に演出は『鳥海（総監督）』さん、アニメーターは『須田』『二宮』『湖川』さんの担当した作品はとても「素晴しい！！！」ですよ（私は『須田』さんの描いた『G1号』が一番「美しい」と思ってますが）。
おまけですが（ほぼ）このスタッフで『破裏拳ポリマー』と『宇宙の騎士テッカマン』を製作してます。

以前バラで揃えてしまった人には少々お気の毒ですが、これは良いです。何しろ保存に場所をとらないし外ケースの裏側の九里一平氏による５人のイラストがなんとも微笑ましくて・・最終話を観終わってからみると涙腺をまたもや刺激されるのだ。私はお店で見て速攻、分割で（笑い）購入しました。これを購入する方はガッチャ・フリークに間違いありませんから話の方はいいですよね、ただ全シリーズにおいて、ジュンのネグリジェ姿が見れるのはこのシリーズだけです！つごう二回出てくるかな・・あとビキニ姿も・・（これは2でも観れるけど）
