   接続したケーブルの種類を判断し、自動的に最適な設定を取る「AUTO-MDIX機能」を搭載しているため、初心者が陥りがちな「ケーブルの差し込みミス」の発生する可能性が大幅に減少している。また、「ANY」というESS-IDを設定した端末の接続を拒否する機能が搭載されているため、意図しない第三者に無線LANに接続され、情報等を盗まれてしまう心配も最小限に食い止められている。（高安正明）

この商品はアッカ、イー・アクセスなどルーターつきＡＤＳＬモデムをもつインターネット環境に対応している。
同じメーカーでラインナップがあるので、購入前にＨＰを参照して、自分の家のインターネット会社にあった商品を選ぶ必要があるので、その点だけご注意頂きたい。

また、有線ポートがない無線のみのモデルである。有線もつなぐ予定の人は、有線ポートつきをどうぞ。
無線ＬＡＮカードも購入する必要がある方は、無線ＬＡＮカードとセットになったWLA-G54C/Pが便利である。

この商品を購入して快適な無線ＬＡＮ生活を送っている。

デスクトップにはＬＡＮカードで接続し、無線ＬＡＮ内蔵のノートブックはそのまま使用している。特に、家中のどこでもノートブックでインターネットにアクセスできると言うことは快適この上ない。

購入前は設定について心配があったが、接続に関しては２台で５分弱、さらにセキュリティーを強化するのに５~１０分を要したのみであった。私自身のＰＣレベルは中の上程度と思っているが、ある程度の知識が在れば十分こなせると思う。

IEEE802. 11gに対応しており、通信速度の点で我が家のADSL環境（２４Ｍ）も十分に引き出している。
