ブライアン・ブレイド参加ということで購入しました。
バカラックの曲はメロディーに深みがあって素敵です。
やはりブライアンのドラミングが全体の哀愁漂う独特の雰囲気を作り上げています。ブライアンファンは必聴！！他のメンバーもカサンドラ・ウィルソンとかもいて最高ですっ！｢ペインテッド・フロム・メモリー｣のほうも聴きましたが良いですよー。ジャズファンにもコステロのファンにも是非ＢＧＭとして聴いて欲しいアルバムです。

エルヴィス・コステロ＆バート・バカラック組みまくりの傑作『Painted From Memory』の全曲を、コステロともニァ〜なマブ友、ギタァ〜リストのビル・フリゼールがジャズアレンジ施しまくった一枚っす！製作過程がマジヤバに興味そそりまくりで、コステロ＆バカラックが書き終えたばかりの楽譜をフリゼール、TAKE OUTって、バカラックがどんなストリィ〜ング＆ホォ〜ンアレンジ施すか微弱にも聴かないで、フリゼールオリジナァ〜ルのアレンジ施して作ったそうっす！よくあるリミックスでも,もちブライアン・フェリ〜流Re-Make/Re-Modelでもねぇ、本家『Painted From Memory』と同時に生まれ、BUT、離れ離れで生き別れ、別々の親御さんに各々育まれ的スタンス取った不思議な味わい溢れるアルバムっす！２曲だけコステロ、ヴォ〜カルってますが他はオールインストっす！フュ〜ジョンっぺぇ感本家より７割増っすがメロディ〜の美しさは見事キィ〜プってまっす！コステロもソフティな歌い方してる点も聴き比べお勧めしまっす！アレンジ変えても変わんねぇサイコッ感に改めて叫ぶっすよ！コステロ＆バカラック＆フリゼール、サイコサイコサイコッ！YEAH!!
