ヘッドセットに比べて、とても便利だなあと思うのは、受話器本体にベルが入っていることです。そのため、PC本体の音声の設定とは無関係にベルを鳴らすことができますので、PCのサウンドOFF状態でも、SKYPEがかかってくるとちゃんと気づくことができます。聞こえやすいベルの音が鳴りますので、遠くからでもちゃんと聞こえます。

短縮ダイアルに相手先のSKYPE-IDを登録しておけば、受話器のプッシュボタンで、すばやく呼び出せるのが便利です。

上記２点のメリットは、自分で使っても便利なのですが、PCに不慣れな方がSKYPE使う場合にもとても有効だと思います。

パーソルのホームページからユーティリティをダウンロードするとSkypeで使うことができるようになったようです。
これを使うと普通の電話のような感覚で使用が可能となりますね。
