あまり、李連杰作品の中では評価の対象に登らない作品ですが、
私は大変面白い作品だと思います。
プロデュースを李連杰自身（プロデューサーネーム＝李陽中）が
しているせいかどうかは、知りませんが、
はっきりいって、李連杰やりたい放題です！
当時三十歳過ぎの彼が演じる十六歳（多分）童貞の無忌は
殆ど修業せずに数々の秘技を手に入れ

（修業以外の苦労はしてますが）
二人の美女（我侭な王女様と可憐な召し使い）にモテモテで、
空を飛び（超人的ジャンプどころでは無く、マジで飛んでます！）
手から光線を出し、
あげくの果に、明教（魔教）の教主様に納まってしまう…
というメチャメチャ楽しいお話です。

但し、ラストはおもいっきり『次回に続く』状態で終わっていまち?。

発表後に古装片ブームが去ってしまったからとも、
最初から続編を作る予定が無かったとも言われていますが…
原作『倚天屠龍記』は日本でも発売されていて、
本作は全５巻の3~４巻辺りだけを抜出して映画化したものです。
映画の前後を知りたい方はそちらをぞうぞ。

最初の解説的なストーリー展開はまだ許せるけど
最後の終わり方は「どないやねん！」ってつっこみたくなる

なんと今まで裏で糸を引いていたのは帝国だったのだ
さぁこれから帝国との戦いが始まるぞ
・・・おわり・・・みたいな
不人気で途中無理矢理連載が終了した漫画みたい

あと、内容もそんなに面白い・・・ということもないし
終わりが気持ち悪い分、見て後悔した

リーリンチェが無条件で好きな方
香港映画的いいかげんな映画事情が好きなマニアの方向けです

もともと３部作にしようと思っていたもののうちの
パート２がこの映画だそうな。
だから、最初の５分間で１作目のあらすじがものすごい勢いで
ナレーションされます。

登場人物の関係とか、時代背景とかが複雑なだけじゃなく、
裏切り者がでてますます訳分からなくなったり…。
ストーリー展開がとにかく早いです。

でも、結構楽しい。

あり得ないことが色々起こって（リンチェイが下ネタ言ったり、
手から光線とか冷気がでたり、あっという間に色んな拳法を
マスターしたり）、突っ込みどころが満載です。
香港映画のノリが好きな方には、いいかも。

あと、サモハン・キンポーが、リンチェイのお師匠役で
でています。（ひげに隠れて分からなかったけど）

サモハンがリンチェイに太極拳を伝授するシーンは、
二人の動きの美しさに目を奪われました。

是非是非、続きをつくって頂きたいものです。
