日本のメタルバンドの3rdです。
よく聞けばちょっと発音悪いとことかあったりしますが、聞いた感じはほとんど外国のメロスピと変わりません。なんと言ってもボーカル高過ぎ！！超ハイトーンでは流石に裏声の割合が高い気はしますが、HelloweenやSonataArcticaなど洋楽のメタルボーカリストのトップクラスと比べても引けを取りません。
楽曲も、メロスピだけどモロジャーマンでもモロ北欧でもなくちゃんと個性が出てますし、印象に残るメロディが多く何度も聞いてしまいます。某有名洋楽誌でも80点以上取ったんで、この手のが好きな人は是非！

ジャパメタに偏見を抱いてる方は少なくない。そんな方にこそ聴いて欲しいのが本作である。歌唱力、演奏力も高く日本人ならではのツボを得た曲は日本人に普遍的にアピールし、海外のバンドの曲に引けをとらない。メロスピ、メロパワが好きな方は下手な海外のバンドより本作をお薦めする。

　明るいナンバーと哀愁ナンバー、曲の並べ方、楽曲の良さなど非常に計算された作りの作品です。
　この作品は、ライブを意識したような作りです。疾走2曲で盛り上げ、ミディアム~スロー系を入れてクールダウン、再び速めの曲を並べ、バラード曲で静め、ミディアムテンポからスピードを上げて疾走曲で締める展開は、リスナーのツボを心得ています。

　技術一辺倒、大げさなオーケストレーションよりも楽曲、メロディを重視している所がこの手のサウンドにカテゴライズされる他のバンドとの大きな違いです。

　AZRAELは、メロスピ系に分類されていますが、メロディアスハードロックと80thメタルのいい所を上手く取り入れたヘヴィ・メタルではないでしょうか。80th~90th初頭のメタルで止まっている人もこのバンドは行けると思います。
