昔、昔、その昔。ジギーが計らずとも、バンドブームに乗ってオリコンを賑わせていた時代を知る人は、この作品を聴いて「あージギーだね」と評価してくれるだろう。松尾、大山の脱退から10年あまり、ようやく「ジギーらしいアルバム」と、メンバーもファンも評せるモノが出てきた。「ようするに、これが俺たちの得意なR&Rであり、ファンの求めるジギー像じゃない？」と松尾氏が言いそうである。彼の再加入も5年は前、もう遠い昔のようだ。今回は松尾氏がメインボーカルをとっている曲もある。ファンには意外な朗報だし、アルバムのアクセントとしても、際立つ存在だ。森重氏の曲は、ある時はポップに、ある時にはマイナーチックに、ブルージーにと、その歌詞、歌の表現力にも頭が下がる思いだ。オリコン1位をとった頃より、格段に知恵と経験を積んできたジギー。もちろん現リズム隊のJoeと津谷氏の寄与も大きい。
今後の彼らの音楽性を語る上で重要なアルバムになるだろう。　2003年　冬

ZIGGY復活から金盤、銀盤と2枚のアルバムを経てリリースされたこの1枚！
森重さんじゃない人の歌声が！ZIGGYファンには興味深いでしょ！でもその正体はすぐに分かります！このアルバムでは松尾宗任、津谷正人が手がけるメロディもあり、金盤、銀盤、そしてSNAKE時代とはまた一味も二味も違うアルバムです。ファン必聴！！

全体的に「This is ZIGGY」とでも言わしめんばかりのストレートでハードなロックンロールソングが並んでいる。
個人的には、このアルバムに収録されている曲に捨て曲はないと思っている。
「ROCK'N'ROLL FREEDOM!」では初期のジギーの勢いが戻ってきたと思うほどノリノリのロックンロール、しかし歌詞が難解なのが後期ジギーの特徴か。
「My Love」では森重の圧倒的な歌唱力に頭が下がる。
日本広しと言えども、ロックシンガーがここまで感情豊かにバラードを歌い上げるのは、森重ただ一人だろう。
｢夢見る頃を過ぎても｣の歌詞には、競争社会を生き抜く我々社会人に対して哀愁の念がこめられている。
松尾がリードボーカルを取る｢愚か者のパレード」、歌はお世辞にもうまいとは言えないが、ミディアムテンポのかっこいいナンバーであり、歌詞の内容も森重節を髣髴させる。
全体を通して、何度聞いても飽きのこない、すべてのジギーフリークに捧げる名盤。
