高橋幸宏に見出されたことをキッカケにデビューした2人組。昨今では発泡酒のCMで使われた先行シングル「8月のキリン」も話題に。本作は2年ぶりとなる3枚目のアルバム。基本的にアコースティック・ギターとヴォーカルというシンプルな構成で、パーカッシヴなリズムなどが軽く装飾する。いわゆるカフェ・ミュージックと言ってしまって差し支えないだろう。分りやすい強さを押し出すことを選択せず、ゆったりと流れる時間感覚に沿って優しい音を届けてくれる。聴き手に心地よさを与える逸品だ。思わず引き込まれる魅力あり。 (土屋京輔) --- 2003年09月号

他のレビュアーさんも御指摘のようにM-1は本当に良い曲だと思います。
原曲がよいせいもあると思いますが、本作でのアレンジもとても心地よいものです。
どこかで聴いた感じだなあと思ったのですが、どうやらKahimi Karieの初期Cruel時代の
ギターに感じが似ていると思い当たりました。

その他の収録曲もカットギターと適度に軽やかなアレンジに、爽やかなVo.が

重なって、日常のお共にぴったりです。シングルにもなっているM-4(13)は
2通りのアレンジが楽しめますし。

音楽に詳しい方のご意見では「永久廃盤」決定とのことなので早めに入手しておく方が
良いかも知れません。

これからの季節、寝ぼうした週末の昼下がり、アイスラテなんかと一緒に聴くと最高(かも)。

アコースティックギターを基本としたシンプルな音づくりで、和田純子のやわらかく空気感のあるヴォーカルの魅力が満喫できる一枚です。特にカバー曲の1曲目と6曲目は、原曲の魅力がBE THE VOICE色によって１００％再生されていて、すごくイイ！シンガーとしての魅力に比べれば平凡な感はありますが、オリジナル曲も心地よく仕上がっています。
