彼らのインタビューを読むと最近のテクノの動向のチェックに抜かりはないようで、
またライブでの新しい機材の導入や、このアルバムでのそつのない音色のチョイスなどを見ても
彼らの意図は只一点、現代における素晴らしいテクノのアルバムを作る事にあったのでは、と思う。

ここにあるのは1枚の新しいテクノLPで、

多くのDJがこのアルバムの曲をプレイしクラウドを盛り上げるだろう、
そのことこそがこのアルバムへの最も美しい讃辞ではなかろうか。

たまらん！
今まで聴いてきたダンスミュージックが全部吹っ飛ぶほどの完成度！
なんじゃこりゃー
１７年ぶりのフルアルバムだとか言うから聴いてみたらすんごいねこりゃ。
なんてカッコイイんでしょう
アウトバーンと並ぶクラフトワーク不朽の名作ですよ
こんなカッコイイテクノ聴いたことないよ
グワングワンで浮遊感たっぷりで高揚に次ぐ高揚感！
それでいてなんだかものすごいコンセプチュアルだし。
ツール・ド・フランスって自転車の大会だってぐらいしか知らないけどものすごい見てみたくなりました。
つーか自転車欲しくなりました。レース仕様の。あのハンドルが前に曲がってるやつね。
しかしこんだけカッコよくスタイリッシュにキメてもやっぱりクラフトワークってどっかのどかな感じがするんですね。
この奥行き感たるやレーサーを取り巻く風になった気分。
はぁ・・・恍惚。うっとり。

待ちに待ち過ぎた新譜の登場に歓喜！
オリジナルとしては『エレクトリック・カフェ』以来ですから、もう１７年前ですね。
音源自体にはデジタルの影が入り込んでいますが、やってる事・精神は正に不変的。
ややミニマルな感じを受けるも、ただ悪戯にドギツいバスドラム（ＴＲ-９０９系）の今のありふれたテクノ系と違い、かなりソリッドな感じです。

正にシンセでしか作りえない音楽！
最もテクノがテクノたりえるアルバム！
１９８３年のシングル『ツール・ド・フランス』が、沿道やＴＶで観戦している人たちの熱狂・高揚感を表したものだとすれば、今回のは出場選手自身の焦燥感や『先は長いなあ・・・』という精神的圧迫感を表したように思えます。

ラストに１９８３年版のリミックスが収?されていますが、個人的には１９８３年のオリジナル版のほうがポップで好きです。それでも、イイ！
アルバムイメージとしては、『放射能』、『ヨーロッパ特急』あたりですね。

ともあれ、イベント絡みでしか活動しないのか？という非難もあるようですが、今のテクノアーティストを名乗る人間が１００万人束になっても叶わない絶対的なところに到達している彼らのアルバムを是非聞いてみて下さい。今のテクノの定義の基礎を築きあげた彼らの不変性を共に再認識しましょう。
