当然のことながらこの商品は車での使用となります。私はiTripとともに使っていますが、やはり長時間のドライブの時には便利です。カールコードの長さも手頃でそんなに邪魔にはなりません。第一世代のiPodを持っていて、車で使用したい人にはお勧めです。

国産電器製品のアダプタに多い深く差し込むタイプのシガーライタープラグは、欧州車では接触が不安定だったりすぐに抜けたりしますが、先端形状から推察した通り、この製品は欧州車の浅い寸法のシガーライターソケットにしっかりと喰い着き、接触不良の心配などは皆無でした。
故意に切断するのも難しそうな太いケープルですが、カールしているので意外に柔らかく、邪魔にもなりません。

車内では喫煙しないので、イグニッションキーがACCではシガーライターソケットに通電しないことに気付きませんでした。
私の車ではエンジンを停めて使えないのが唯一の誤算。
