最近注目を集めている、３ピースバンドの2003年発売の2ndアルバム。
この2ndアルバムで多くの支持を集め、最近3rdアルバムが発売された。
彼らに興味があり、はじめにキッカケを求めるのなら、是非このアルバムからの曲か、DVD「scene of loop」をレンタルするなりご購入なさるなりしてご覧になることを薦めたい。察するに1stや3rdよりも限られた時間の中で作られたアルバムであろうが、その分剥き出しの生々しい出来に仕上がっている。どの曲でも、彼らなりに多くの音楽に向かい合って来たのであろう、緩急や静と動を巧みに織り交ぜた緊張感のある唄や演奏と良いメロディセンスが楽しめる。
電子音楽を主に愛聴していた自分を、彼らの音楽は強烈にロックの世界に引き戻してくれた。クオリティは高くとも既聴感のあるテクスチャを組み合わせ、真摯に（これは彼らを語るときに必ず出てくる言葉であると思う）独自の世界をバンドとして必要最小限の構成要素である３ピースに限定して描きだそうという彼らには、とても多くの可能性を感じた。
「波、白く」で「白波のように生まれたのだろう/全てを描くつもりで」と、誰にでもどうとでも解釈できる言葉を必死に叫ぶ彼らは、この瞬間僕の中でヒーローになった。
残念なのはCCCDであること。彼らのようにお金を払うべき価値がある音楽が、CCCDのようにお金を払う価値のないメディアで発表されているところに、多少の憤りを感じつつ、「お金を払わなくも視聴でもなんでもいいから聴いてくれ」と暴言が一つ頭の中に浮かんだ。それぐらい、このアルバムの彼らは魅力的である。

ファースト、「創」を聞き込んできた人はあれ？と感じる方もいるかもしれない。
でもこのアルバムが本性を現すのは二回目からなのだ。

コード感が絶妙なギター、それに絡まるように激しくウネるベース、時には暴力的に、そして時には優しくバンドを支えているドラム。そしてその上に被さって来る少し掠れ気味のセクシーな声。ここまで説得力のある、キッチリとしたサウンドを聞かせるバンドはそういないと思う。
僕はこのアルバムを、紛れも無い傑作だと思っている。

部屋で一人、大音量のヘッドフォンで繰り返し聞いて欲しい。
きっとあなたの心を付いて来る一曲が見つかる筈だ。

何を描きたいかがはっきりとわかる作品。
詞も表現は抽象的だが、対象が具体的なので表現がブレない。
しかし、その詞の内容があまりにも壮大というか、宇宙や生命の流転やらまでブッ飛んでいるのだ。ゆえに、いわゆるポップさとは縁がない。
サウンド的にはドライブ感のあるロックで、キャッチーさも見てとれる

のだが、詞の世界とのアンバランスさで万人受けはまったくしそうにない・・・が。
いびつな形のまま体当たりしてくるACIDMANという世界が、
これでもかというほど心を揺さぶるのだ。これは聴く価値のある感動だと思う。
世界の仕組みを暴こうとする気合とテンパり具合が、全く新しい感情を呼び起こす。必ず後々まで残る作品だ。
