GO!GO!らしいミドルテンポの曲。浮舟の和の色を少し残しつつ、ちょっと違った新たな指向が伺える。イントロはオリエンタルな感じだが、さびにはいるとまたそれとは違った印象をうける。私は個人的にはカップリングの赤いソファーの方が好きである。こちらは、どちらかといえばかつてのGO!GO!に近く、よりロックな感じがする。

GO!GO!7188史上最もアグレッシブでロックな楽曲。昭和歌謡グルーブにロカビリー。不気味なイントロとじりじり這い狂うベースラインで刺激的な前半から、中盤は"愛の讃歌"がモチーフで一気に駆け抜ける、後半は和製オルタナを感じさせる新境地でヘヴィなロックを展開する。和製ミューズ。

ラジオで流れているのを聞いたのが最初でした。
聞いた瞬間、「何この歌…。」
当時J-POPしか聞かなかった私は、あまりにも普通の歌とはかけ離れていて
全く型にはまっていないサウンドに、ものすごい衝撃を受けました。
というか、そもそもこの曲で私はGO!GO!にはまりました。
どんどん高くなっていくメロディーは鳥肌もんです。
歌詞も素晴らしすぎです。私的には「明るい絶望」ってところが好き。

カップリングの赤いソファーは、これぞGO!GO!って感じかな。
カップリングなのにシングルでもいいような出来です。めちゃくちゃいいです。
GO!GO!の中で一・ニ番めに好きっていう人もいるくらいですからね。
この曲聞くためだけでもこのCD買う価値があります。
