あの何事もひねらずにいられない屈折したアートの権化、ペリー・ファレルが溌剌とロックにうち興じている。もちろん彼が歌えば馴染みの空気が立ちこめ、独特の浮遊感は拭いようもない。が、なんとここには屈託がないのである。どこで反転沈降するかと終始構えて聴いても、最後の最後までアッパーなまんま。それこそが本作最大のひねりと言えようか。踊れや踊れ、腰振って踊れ、とビートが揺らす。ギターが煽る。ジャケットにメンバーが堂々姿を現しているところからしてなにか少々勝手が違うし、あれまあ、プロデューサーは雰囲気モンの大家ボブ・エズリン。復活ジェーンズは腰と感性に訴えかけるロック・バンドに転生した。いや、インディ時代の姿に戻ったのだ。ファレルの歌いっぷりにもデイヴ・ナヴァロのギターにものびのびとした開放感があふれる、純粋にノリのよいハード・ロック・アルバム。深みはないやも知れぬ。しかし、この熱気を彼らからのメッセージと受け取った。 (平野和祥) --- 2003年09月号

ジャケットのセンスは抜群だったのに今回のコレ。

ひでーよ。（笑）これで星★★★

DVDが付いてる輸入盤の方がシンプルなのでジャケマニアはこちらがオススメ。
デイブがんばってます。ペリーは相変わらずです。

ジェーンズが聴きたいのなら３rdまでをオススメすると思った俺。
なーんか、年とったので丸くなったカンジがすると思った俺。

アメリカ勢元気なぇな。と思った俺。
モトリークルーのオリジナルメンバー再結成の方が面白そうだな。
