人気役者でありつつ音楽活動にも積極的だった中村雅俊は、今でいえば織田裕二のポジションに近い感じか。このデビュー30周年記念の30枚組BOXセットは、74年の1st『ふれあい』から2000年の『STEPPING STONES』に至る23枚のオリジナル・アルバムに、アルバム未収録のシングル曲を数多く含むベスト盤『SONGS』シリーズ4枚、さらに、『接触ライヴ！』（84年）、『Touch my mind』（79年）というライヴ盤2枚という計29枚のCDに、貴重な77年のライヴ映像を収録したDVD1枚が付く。ファンのお目当ては、当然そのDVDということになろうが、実際にライヴ演奏されているのは全7曲中2曲ぐらいで、あとはプロモーション・ビデオ風の映像が使われているので要注意。とはいえ、70年代からの熱心なファンには懐かしくてたまらない作品であるのは間違いない。 （木村ユタカ）
