   自分の家に突如として現れたピカチュウと生活する、というちょっと風変わりなゲーム。テレビ番組を通してピカチュウと仲良くなることが目的だ。約100種類のポケモンがMCを務める番組をピカチュウと一緒に楽しもう。

   プレイヤーはピカチュウと協力して、「ポケモン放送局」というテレビ局から失われた人気番組の映像クリップを見つけ、テレビ局に返していく。番組に必要なすべてのクリップが見つかると、ポケモン番組が開始するようになっている。ニュース、クイズ、ショッピング、アニメなどさまざまな番組が用意され、登場するポケモンの特徴を見事に生かしているため思わず笑ってしまう場面も。見るだけではなくクイズ番組などには参加することもできる。ポケモンたちのセリフや声もすべてアニメと同じ声優たちが担当している。

 「カードeリーダー＋」対応で、色や模様の種類が増える「カードe＋」が3枚同梱されている。そのほか、ポケモン映画の特典映像が見られる「番組拡張ディスク」も付いてくる。（林田信浩）

　ポケモンのゲームをやり込んでいる人には、息抜き的に楽しめる良作！最初はピカチュウがテレビの中に入り込もうとしてぶつかったり、プレイヤー（ゲームは、自分視点です）になつこうとし、勢い余ってぶつかるなど、ピカチュウとのやりとりで親密度を高める必要があります。最初の１時間で、ピカチュウが遂にテレビに「十万ボルト」の技をかけ、壊れてしまった時には、ビックリするやら笑えるやら、展開は早いです。ソーナンスが司会するクイズには、プレイヤーも参加出来、正解すると５０ポケ〜２００ポケ貰えます。そしてゼニガメが紹介するテレビ通販では、稼いだお金で実際にショッピングできる、という疑似体験が楽しめます。
　ゲームは、リアルタイムで進するので、屋外で出会えるポケモンもプレイする時間帯により変化します。また、初対面のポケモンに挨拶すると、３択のクイズが出され、正解すると「カード」が貰えるなど、ミニゲームも楽しめ、バトル抜きでほんわかムードで楽しめます。
　ポケモンに詳しければ、正解率も高く、これは侮れません！

ポケモン大好きな人は是非やってみてください。
これまでにない新しい感覚のゲームです。
ピカチュウとコミュニケーションしながらゆっくりリアルに進行するゲームの中で、
いつのまにかそこの住人となっている自分自身を発見することでしょう。
「明日は晴れるかな？」
「あ、今日から新番組スタートだっけ？楽しみーー」
なーんて。
