　浜崎あゆみ初のＤＶＤオーディオなんですが、なんと5.1にリミックスされているのは表題曲１曲だけ！他の全曲は既発のＣＣＣＤと同じ２チャンネルのミックスです。

　確かに高音がこもりがちなＣＣＣＤ版に比べると飛躍的に音質は向上しており、「voyage」の弦など息を呑むほど美しくなりました。しかし、なぜ全曲を5.1にしなかったのでしょうか。「rainbow」の5.1ミックスが素晴らしいだけに悔やまれます。

　また、ＤＶＤオーディオの利点である歌詞の表示やヴィデオの収録などもまったくなく、せっかくのフォーマットを生かしきれていないソフトであることは否めません。残念！

最近(ていうか殆ど)のCDはただの音ですね。(しかし、CDにしか好きな曲が入っていないのでしょうがないのですが)このDVD-Aに入っている曲は要らないものばかりですね。変に5.1chにするよりも、名曲だけ集めて192KHz(2ch)で収録する方が良いと思う。5.1chを好んでいる人に限って、音の悪い安物のシアターセットで5.1chを聴いている人が殆どだと思うのですが、そんな人にはDVD-Aをオススメできません。
でもReal meは結構聴いていることが多いです。英詞で「女性は決して逃げない」、「女性は決して隠れない」(こんな感じの意味だと思う)という所が大好きです。Heartplaceはこのアルバムで一番最初に聴いた曲ですが、「年を取っただけの子供も大人と呼ぶべきなのかな?」という場面が好きです。この曲の「Dreamland Mix」というリミックスを何時も聴いています。Overも「私だけ寒いわけじゃない事もわかったの、だけど遅すぎたみたい」という所がすきです。Close to youはこのアルバムの中で一番良い曲だと思います。音の響き具合もとても良いですし、何より詞が良い。「誰もいつかたった一人の人に出会うため歩いてく」という所も素敵ですし、終わり方も、CD盤よりもDVD-A盤の方が良い。

最近はソフトの数、質ともに
SACDに負けた感のあった「DVD-audio」ですが
浜崎さんのソフト化で、もっと一般に認知され
よりソフトが出るのを期待します。
（エイベックスのCCCDは、プレーヤに負担かけるので嫌いです）

DVD-audioに対応したデッキをお持ちの方でも
以外とソフトを持って無い現実。
まずは、とりあえず「知ってる」アーティストを
試しに買ってみて、CDとは違った世界を体験されるのを勧めます。
特に高音の伸びはCDより滑らかになっているので
高音の浜崎さんのソフトなどは聞き比べが面白いと思います。
「音の前に座って聞く」のではなく
「音に囲まれて味わう」という、楽しみがあります。

これからもっとソフトをだしてほしい
期待もあって五つ星にしました。
（できれ!!ばライブものとかを出してほしい）
