   アルバム『too』の収録曲を、10人のクリエイターがリミックス／リアレンジし、さらにFANTASTIC PLASTIC MACHINEの新曲1曲も追加した企画盤。ジャンルの枠を超えた多彩なアーティストが参加しており、それぞれの個性や音楽性がストレートに出ていて興味深い。たとえば生演奏ものではPE’Zがジャズ寄りの軽快なアレンジだし、東京スカパラダイスオーケストラは原曲のヴォーカルを生かしたグルーヴィーなスカ。笹子重治に至ってはヴォーカルだけを残し、自らの流麗なアコギで完全なボサノヴァ・ソングにしてしまっている。実に多彩な解釈がそろったわけで、『too』のシンプルな作風とは対照的な内容になっていて、そこが田中知之の狙いだったのかも。新曲の「You」は、FPMらしくドリーミーでアッパーなハウスだ。（小山 守）

Fantastic Plastic Machine（以下、FPM）の前作「Too」のリミックスアルバム。リミキサーとして選ばれたのはFPMが信頼の置くアーティストというだけでなく、国内外を問わず実力のある豪華な顔ぶれである。

Pe'z、Tahiti80、Mondo Grosso、Masters at work、Le Knight club、Tucker、笹子重治、Koop、東京スカパラダイスオーケストラ、富田ラボが前作「Too」のそれぞれの曲と「contact」で新曲だった名曲「city lights」をアレンジしている。さらに80sリバイバル~エレクトロ・クラッシュを意識した「今はなきQueenに捧ぐ！」というFPMの新曲を含んでいる。

FPMの楽曲にリミキサー陣がそれぞれの持ち味を加え、新たな魂を吹き込むといった感じに仕上がっている。
FPMのファンも楽しめ、それぞれのアーティストに興味を抱く良いきっかけをも与えてくれる大変良質でおもしろい作品である。

FPMのこうしたアルバムとして過去の「Beautiful」に対する「Contact」というリミックスアルバムもあるのでこの機会にそちらも楽しめば良いと思います。

それぞれのアーティストが、"too"のよさを十分に引き出してとても聞き応えのあるものになっています。5曲目のReaching for the starは"too"よりもかっこよくていい。笹子さんのDays and Daysももともとbossa novaで作られた曲のように聞こえます。"too"とはちがう、いろんなジャンルの音がして、楽しめました。

　2曲目のYOUは、とってもさわやか！！何度も何度も聞いてしまいました。ぜひ！tooといっしょに買うべきです！

Why Not?(Tomita Lab.Remix) 生涯聴いた曲の中でこのアレンジが一番好き。この曲だけでも聴く価値があると思います。
