元五つの赤い風船の西岡たかし、中川イサト、元ディランIIの永井よう、元I.M.O.Band の金森幸介ら、ソロ活動に飽き足らなくなった旧知の音楽仲間が集まって75年に一時結成されたグループの唯一のアルバム。実力最高。

   URCの末期にひっそりとリリースされた作品。まるで五つの赤い風船の再結成盤のようなタイトルだが、実際は西岡たかしと初代風船のギタリスト中川イサト、小さなオルフェ~IMOバンド~都会の村人の名ヴォーカリスト金森幸介、元ディランIIの永井よおという、いわばフォークのスーパー・セッション・バンド。楽曲もほぼ4者が均等に手掛け、それぞれが個性的な歌を聞かせているのだが、不思議と全体のバランスはよく、急造のセッションの雰囲気は一切ない隠れた好盤だ。この組み合わせでは結局本作1枚しか残さなかった。（田口史人）

4.0 out of 5 stars もうひとつの「五つの赤い風船」, 2003/10/16
ミスター「五つの赤い風船」、西岡たかしの個性が色濃く反映された他のアルバムと同じ心構えで聴くと期待を裏切られますが、それはやがて心地良い発見に変ります。女性ボーカルも皆無ですが（ふーこちゃん！）、まるで風船の同窓会のような和気あいあいとした録音場面を連想させてくれます。しかし、それでもやはり音はまごうかたなき風船サウンドなのです。旧い風船ファンも90年代の風船ファンも、それぞれいろいろな思いを抱きながら聴いて納得するアルバムだと思います。
