「詩のボクシング」など、近年、玄人素人を含めて、自作詩を朗読することはあたりまえになっているが、実は、詩を書くことと朗読することには深い溝があった。このCDに記録された関西オーラル派の詩朗読は、詩の完成度を競う発表会ではなく、朗読する時代や場所や聴衆などにより刻々と変化する＜詩を媒介にしたある種のイベント＞だった。この録音には立ち会っていないが、当時の朗読会には何度も足を運んだので、雰囲気は肌で知っている。関西フォークソング運動に深く関わった＜日本のビート詩人＞片桐ユズル、同じく京都をベースとし、替え歌研究でも知られる詩人有馬敲、そして、岡山弁のリズムに乗せたユーモアと皮肉あふれる朗読で知られ、現在も活発に活動中の岡山の詩人秋山基夫によるこの録音が、今の十代~二十代の詩を愛する若い人たちにどのように響くのか、興味深い。なお、私はこの録音のLPを持っているが、CD化はないだろうとあきらめていた。CD復刻の企画実行に感謝したい。
