   五つの赤い風船のオリジナル・メンバーとして知られていた名ギタリストのファースト・ソロは知人の自宅で録音されたプライヴェート録音のいわば発掘音源で、宅録物の走りとも言えそうな密室的作品。後の繊細で暖かみのある諸作に比べると、なんとも無骨で素っ気ない音像だが、荒削りな音の端々からギタリストとしての非凡さと豊富な音楽的アイディアがあふれ出ている。アルバムのラストに収録された長尺のサイケデリック・ナンバー「無」などは後のアルバムからは聴くことのできない別の顔を覗くことができる。（田口史人）

もともとＬＰのときから、音はよくありません。でもハンドメイドのよさがあるし、なにより、テクが超一流。日本のフォーク史に残る名盤、５つ星です。五つの赤い風船で、藤原秀子や西岡たかしとやっていた人ですし、また村上律ともアルバムを出したひとでもあります。関西フォーク人脈では、絶対にはずせないひとですね。イサトさんの１９７５年のライヴで、「鼻唄とお月さん」というのがありますが、それには今はなき西岡恭蔵（ぞうさん）・加川良・大塚まさじ等の錚々たるメンバーが参加していました。ほんと、日本のフォークのコアな歴史からけして外せないひとであります！　このアルバムを買わずして、日本の良質フォークを語ってはなりませぬ。
