サム・ロックウェル好きなのに。
こんなに豪華なキャストにする必要ってなんでしょう？
もし、話の内容を人に口頭で説明したらきっとおもしろそうな映画だね。って言葉が返ってくると思うんです。
ただ、それを映像にするとやっぱり違います。
せっかく主演だったのに、これなら「グリーン・マイル」のひどい殺人鬼のほうが、よかったな。

　アメリカのテレビ界における大衆性を作り出した主人公の裏の顔がエージェントという設定が面白く、且つそれが実話に基づいていることが大変興味深い作品です。共演者が適役というか、はまり役が多いのも本作品のプラス要因でしょう。

　エージェントという裏の顔が後々主人公を追い詰めていきますが、展開が速いです。それに敵・味方が誰なのか判らないところはスパイものならではです。主人公は表の顔も最大限活用して裏の任務をこなしていきますが、利用しているつもりが利用されといったシニカルな場面もあり、実話っぽさも伺えます。こんな人生もあるのだなと妙に感服致しました。

サム・ロックウェル、雰囲気のあるいい役者だと思う。グリーンマイルの殺人鬼の役が強烈だが、本作でも映画に深みを与えている。実話ともフィクションともつかない自伝風のつくりだが、見終わってふ〜ん、だから何？という気がしないでもない。最後まで退屈しないで見ることができるのはサム・ロックウェルの力か。ジョージ・クルーニー初監督作品ということでか、ブラピとマット・デイモンがチョイ役で顔を見せる。
